Alfred produces educational, reference, pop, and performance materials for teachers, students, professionals, and hobbyists spanning every musical instrument, style, and difficulty level. These two short songs are an excellent introduction to cross-cultural choral singing. Both incorporate brief Spanish phrases with an English text. Numero uno is a sensitive piece about music; dos is a lively, "salsa" style number: "Everybody sing, sing, sing!" Their contrasting qualities make them a nice program set but they can also be sung individually. Well written vocal lines and counterlines make them easy and enjoyable to sing.
